6G-PATH presented at the University of Coimbra by project partner ONE
On 18 December 2025, the 6G-PATH project was presented at the University of Coimbra, within the Department of Informatics Engineering (DEI), as part of the course Mobile Networks and Internet of Things. The visit was carried out by 6G-PATH partner ONE, following an invitation from one of the department’s lecturers.
The session targeted Master’s students in Informatics Engineering and researchers, providing an overview of the 6G-PATH vision and objectives in the context of next-generation mobile networks. The presentation introduced the project’s approach to enabling and evaluating future 6G-enabled services, highlighting its relevance to both academic research and industrial innovation.
The visit also fostered an open discussion on evaluation methodologies, emerging 6G use cases, and collaboration opportunities between academia and industry. This exchange contributed to increasing awareness of the 6G-PATH project within the academic community and reinforced the importance of close cooperation in advancing 6G research and development.
Such dissemination and engagement activities play a key role in strengthening the project’s outreach and in supporting the development of a collaborative ecosystem for future mobile networks.
