Gaia-X
Gaia-X strives for innovation through digital sovereignty. Our goal is to establish an ecosystem, whereby data is shared and made available in a trustworthy environment. Our intention is that we give the control back to the users by retaining sovereignty over their data. Our outcome will not be a cloud. It is a federated system linking many cloud service providers and users together in a transparent environment that will drive the European data economy of tomorrow.

Autoware VPI
This project implements a Vehicle Programming Interface (VPI) that connects Autoware’s ROS topics to external systems such as MQTT, DDS, and Zenoh, enabling seamless data exchange and V2X messaging without requiring deep knowledge of Autoware’s internal stack.

LGPLv3

We are specifically contributing to the support of V2X within the Autoware codebase, particularly in its integration according to the European standard ETSI ITS-G5. More details about the working group can be found here

Vanetza-NAP
Vanetza-NAP is an extended version of Vanetza is an open-source C++ implementation of the ETSI C-ITS protocol suite designed to operate on ITS-G5 channels in a Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) using IEEE 802.11p (WAVE).

linuxptp
This software is an implementation of the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) according to IEEE standard 1588 for Linux. The dual design goals are to provide a robust implementation of the standard and to use the most relevant and modern Application Programming Interfaces (API) offered by the Linux kernel.

GPLv2+
We have extended the log messages of  linuxptp and we will make this change available in a public repository. The additional information is utilized by the Network Side TSN Translator of the Open5GCore.  This component of the 5G core network transmits time information to the TSN Translator on the User Equipment and establishes time synchronization through the 5G System.
6G-PATH Testbed Repository
Pending – to be released at the end of the project
The Testbed Repository maintains the URLs and metadata centralised storage system that contains information about all the registered testbeds within the 6G-PATH architecture. This component ensures that the Northbound Interface can retrieve the correct details when a user is authorised to access a testbed. The repository also holds the locations of the monitoring databases linked to each testbed, enabling the system to collect and visualise experiment metrics. Its role is to ensure that the system knows which testbeds are available, their URLs and how to access their monitoring services.

docker_open5gs
IT contributed to the open5gs_docker project by (i) simplifying roaming configuration in Open5GS; and (ii) integrating eUPF with Open5GS in the Docker environment. These changes, now merged upstream, make roaming and advanced user-plane deployment significantly easier in the IT B5G testbed.
