Telefónica showcases 6G-PATH at IEEE PIMRC 2024
Telefónica, a key partner in the 6G-PATH project, on 2–5 September 2024 participated in the IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC) 2024, a leading global event in wireless research and innovation.
At the Telefónica booth, the 6G-PATH project was prominently featured, with a dedicated roll-up highlighting the project’s vision and objectives. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the advancements in 6G-enabled use cases taking place in Andalucía, Spain, specifically:
- UC Farm 1 – Water Saving: Optimizing irrigation with AI-driven data analysis and 6G connectivity.
- UC Farm 2 – Smart Vineyards: Enhancing vineyard management through real-time monitoring and automated decision-making.
As one of the most influential forums in wireless communications, IEEE PIMRC 2024 provided an excellent platform for Telefónica to present how 6G-PATH is shaping the future of connectivity and sustainable smart agriculture.
