KAU highlights 6G-PATH advances in remote healthcare at EMS2025 and SNCNW 2025
Our partner Karlstad University (KAU) has actively presented the progress of the 6G-PATH project at two key events this June:
EMS2025 – Stockholm, Sweden (2–4 June)
KAU shared a poster titled “Enhancing Prehospital Competence Through High-Fidelity Simulation Utilizing Beyond-5G and 6G Technologies.”
The poster focused on ongoing 6G-PATH trials involving immersive, high-tech training for prehospital care providers. This provided an excellent opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals worldwide and demonstrate how 6G technologies can enhance emergency response training.
SNCNW 2025 – Trollhättan, Sweden (10–11 June)
Professor Anna Brunstrom (KAU) delivered a presentation on the use of immersive communication technologies to support remote healthcare education, featuring the KAU testbed and current trials within 6G-PATH.
The presentation sparked strong interest and valuable discussions among researchers, students, and industry professionals.
The event also highlighted the upcoming Second Open Call, inviting new collaborators to join the 6G-PATH ecosystem.
These activities underscore the growing recognition of 6G’s potential to transform healthcare, education, and connectivity.
Stay tuned for more updates and collaboration opportunities!
