DroneLab XR Showcased at the Tech Expo & Intelligent Systems Festival in Kalamata
The 6G-PATH project is proud to highlight the successful participation of DroneLab XR, one of the winning projects from the 6G-PATH Open Call 2, at the “Tech Expo & Intelligent Systems Festival” held in Kalamata, Greece.
During the event, the DroneLab XR team presented their innovative XR-based UAV pilot training game to a broad audience of more than 500 visitors from academia, industry, and the wider public. Attendees had the opportunity to experience firsthand how Extended Reality (XR) technologies can enhance drone pilot education and training through immersive and interactive environments.
The showcase demonstrated the growing impact of 6G-PATH-supported innovations beyond the research environment, bringing advanced technological applications closer to end users and stakeholders. By combining XR technologies with UAV training scenarios, DroneLab XR contributes to the development of next-generation intelligent systems and digital learning experiences.
The participation in the festival also provided valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and public engagement around emerging technologies and their real-world applications.
The DroneLab XR team expressed their appreciation to the event organisers and supporting partners, including Fotis Asimakopoulos and SoDa.Lab, for their contribution to the successful presentation of the project.
6G-PATH continues to support innovative projects that explore the transformative potential of 6G, XR, and intelligent systems across diverse application domains
