Advancements in UC-Health 1: 3D Hydrogel patches presented at the Future of Care Conference
The 6G-PATH project was showcased at the 8th “Future of Care” Conference (Cluster Zukunft der Pflege), held on 3–4 March 2026. The event brought together experts, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss innovative technologies shaping the future of healthcare and care services.
During the conference, Dr. Simone Kuntz delivered a presentation on behalf of the Charité Geriatric Group, highlighting the latest advancements in 6G-PATH UC-Health 1: 3D Hydrogel Patches, developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer FOKUS. The presentation demonstrated how emerging 6G-enabled technologies can support the development of innovative healthcare solutions, including smart medical materials designed to improve patient monitoring and enhance future care models.
The Fraunhofer FOKUS 6G-PATH booth also provided an opportunity to engage with conference participants, exchange insights, and discuss the potential of next-generation connectivity in digital health applications.
