6G-PATH workshop showcases Europe’s 6G Innovation at Aveiro TechWeek 2025
On October 6, 2025, OneSource and Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) Aveiro successfully organised the 6G-PATH Workshop as part of Aveiro TechWeek 2025, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and innovators from across Europe to explore the future of 6G technologies.
The workshop was held in collaboration with several prominent national and EU-funded projects, including 6G-VERSUS, IMAGINE-B5G, NERO, MIRANDA, and RIGOUROUS, fostering an open and multidisciplinary dialogue on the evolving 6G ecosystem.
Throughout the day, participants attended presentations and discussions on the potential applications of 6G across key verticals such as smart cities, advanced agriculture, and immersive communications. The event also featured live demonstrations from participating projects, showcasing cutting-edge use cases and experimental results.
The workshop highlighted the collaborative spirit driving Europe’s 6G research community and reinforced the importance of joint innovation in shaping the networks of the future.
