6G-PATH showcased at the 16th ITS European Congress in Seville
The University of Malaga (UMA), a key partner in the 6G-PATH project, presented its latest research at the 16th Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) European Congress, held in Seville, Spain, from May 20–22, 2025.
During the session “SIS 67 – 5G for Connected & Automated Mobility – Service Continuity Across Europe,” Almudena Díaz (UMA) shared insights from the remote control trials carried out in the context of the 6G-PATH initiative. Her presentation highlighted how advanced 6G-ready technologies can support the seamless operation of remote driving and intelligent transport systems across borders.
The session brought together leading voices in the field—including representatives from Deutsche Telekom AG, Be-Mobile, and TalTech—to discuss how next-generation connectivity can enable Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM). Topics included cross-border service continuity, safety, efficiency, and the digital transformation of transport networks.
6G-PATH’s contribution reflects the project’s commitment to supporting the European vision of smarter, greener, and more connected mobility infrastructure.
