Under the guiding theme “Higher Education Nursing Education – Standardisation in Competence and Practice Development”, the event addressed current topics such as the academisation of nursing, standardised competence development and measurement, the further development of qualification pathways, and the integration of academically qualified nurses into different care settings.
The 6G-PATH project was represented through its partners Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, who presented Use Case 1 – Health: 3D Hydrogel Patches. The presentation demonstrated how advanced connectivity and digital technologies can support innovative wound care solutions and contribute to improving healthcare delivery.
Participants in the event included healthcare professionals, educators and students, home care services, end users, researchers, healthcare providers and health insurance representatives. The discussions also highlighted the potential of digital wound care solutions, particularly for improving care provision in rural areas and supporting innovation in the nursing profession.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange and highlighted the importance of collaboration between research, education and healthcare practice in advancing digital health solutions.
