6G-BioPrinting
Development of a 5G/6G network compatible 3D-bioprinting system for real-time communication and maintenance during hydrogel patch biofabrication
5G/6G-connected 3D bioprinter
The planned research and development project aims to develop a novel 3D bioprinter that, through an open API integration into 5G/6G networks, enables precise, real-time maintenance and quality control in the do-main of wound care for patients regardless of location. The system addresses the growing demand for open architectures, interconnection with 5G radio, APIs for bioprinting with multiple layers and materials as well as providing real-time maintenance and quality control for bioprinting towards individualized medicine, particularly in personalized wound care outside of traditional hospital settings.
