6G-PATH proudly participated in the Automotive Summit 2025, held on October 29, 2025, at the Aveiro Exhibition Park. The event gathered industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore the future of connected and autonomous mobility.

As part of the exhibition, 6G-PATH demonstrated use case CITIES 1, focusing on the collection of Key Value Indicators (KVIs) and the potential of next-generation 6G connectivity to enhance urban transportation systems.

Our partners Instituto de Telecomunicações, Universidade de Aveiro and Altice Labs, showcased how autonomous vehicles can benefit from collective perception, integrating data from pedestrian and cyclist sensors (AR/VR) and roadside units through V2X communication. This approach enables vehicles to better understand and react to their environment, contributing to safer and more efficient mobility.

The Automotive Summit featured engaging panels, discussions, and live demonstrations, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and public institutions in advancing intelligent transport technologies.

The participation of 6G-PATH at the Automotive Summit highlights the project’s ongoing commitment to pioneering 6G-enabled innovations that support smart cities and connected mobility across Europe.
