We are thrilled to announce that Instituto de Telecomunicações, a partner of the 6G-PATH project, has won the Best Research Paper Award EMEA at the 30th ITS World Congress in Dubai, UAE! 

The award-winning paper, titled “Real-time Object and Event Detection Service through Computer Vision and Edge Computing”, was presented by Marcos Mendes and co-authored by Gonçalo Perna, Pedro Rito, Duarte Raposo, and Susana Sargento from Instituto de Telecomunicações and Universidade de Aveiro. This groundbreaking research is supported by 6G-PATH and showcases how the project is advancing innovation in edge computing and computer vision.
