6G-PATH presented at La Salle – Saint Nicolas, Issy-les-Moulineaux

In January 2026, the 6G-PATH project was showcased at La Salle – Saint Nicolas, a higher education institution specialising in technical and professional training, near Paris. The session brought together students preparing for careers in security and public protection, as well as academic staff.

The presentation was delivered by Airbus, highlighting the 6G-PATH project with a special focus on the “Security coordination” (UC-CITIES-3) use case within smart cities. Participants learned about 6G-enhanced PPDR and MCX services, the integration of drone features for improved security operations, and opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry.

The interactive session fostered valuable discussions, strengthened the connection between the academic community and industry, and increased awareness of research and innovation initiatives among future security and public protection professionals.

Dissemination and engagement activities like this are vital for 6G-PATH, helping build a collaborative ecosystem for next-generation mobile networks and ensuring that future practitioners are aware of the capabilities and applications of 6G technologies.
