The 6G-PATH project was recently featured at the IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference 2025, held from 2-4 June in Porto, Portugal, through the active participation of our partner, Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT).

Under the 6G-PATH initiative, IT researchers co-authored the paper “Cooperative Augmented Reality: Displaying Occluded Vehicles using V2X Communications”, presented during the event. The work, authored by André Clérigo, Gonçalo Silva, Maximilian Schrapel, Pedro Rito, Susana Sargento, and Alexey Vinel, explores how V2X communications and AR headsets can improve road safety for Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) in urban mobility scenarios.

This contribution supports 6G-PATH’s mission to advance intelligent, connected transport systems for future mobility.
