6G-PATH 3rd plenary meeting in Berlin, Germany

On 17-18 December 2024, the 6G-PATH consortium successfully held its plenary meeting in Berlin, hosted by our esteemed partner Fraunhofer FOKUS. This productive gathering provided an excellent platform for collaboration, updates, and strategic planning as the project continues advancing its mission to shape the future of 6G.

Day 1 focused on detailed discussions around the progress and milestones of the vertical experiments, led by ONE, followed by updates on the project’s Open Calls managed by F6S. The day concluded with valuable insights from UBRAD on 6G trials, pilot validation, and evaluation activities, providing a comprehensive view of ongoing efforts.

On Day 2, the consortium turned its attention to key project management updates led by OTE, along with developments in the 6G-PATH experimentation environment, coordinated by UMA. Partners also presented updates on dissemination and commercialization strategies, spearheaded by eBOS, as well as activities related to the identification of Beyond 5G technologies, clustering, knowledge transfer, and scale-up strategies, led by ICT-FI. The meeting wrapped up with closing remarks that summarized the progress achieved and outlined the next steps for the project.

The consortium extends its heartfelt gratitude to all project partners for their valuable contributions and to Fraunhofer FOKUS for hosting this successful meeting. Together, the 6G-PATH consortium continues to push the boundaries of innovation and collaboration, paving the way for the next generation of 6G technologies.
