DroneLabXR, a winner of the 6G-PATH Open Call, recently showcased its work at the 2nd University Student Conference of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of the Peloponnese.

The session brought together more than 100 students and academic staff, offering an engaging introduction to next-generation immersive technologies and their role in future communication networks.

Participants experienced an interactive VR application and a virtual drone piloting demonstration, highlighting how XR and UAV technologies can support training, education, and innovation in 6G-enabled environments.

The showcase provided a strong example of how 6G-PATH Open Call activities are helping to translate research results into accessible, real-world experiences, inspiring the next generation of engineers and researchers in advanced digital technologies.
