6G-PATH at the 11th IEEE NFV-SDN 2025 Conference in Athens
The 6G-PATH project was proudly represented by OTE at the 11th IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN 2025), held on 10–12 November 2025 in Athens, Greece. As one of the most significant global forums for developments in virtualized and software-driven networking, the conference brought together experts from academia and industry to discuss next-generation network architectures, algorithms, and operational frameworks.
6G-PATH booth & project demonstrations
OTE hosted a dedicated and interactive booth, presenting the 6G-PATH project through a series of videos that highlighted:
The overall scope and context of the project
The technical challenges we aim to address
The vertical-driven use cases (UCs)
Latest updates and progress on each UC
The booth attracted over 100 visitors during the three-day event, generating strong interest and continuous engagement with participants eager to learn more about the 6G-PATH framework.
Collaboration across the SNS-JU ecosystem
Our booth was jointly organized with the SNS-JU NANCY project, enabling interactive discussions on how to integrate efficient AI mechanisms to support various verticals.
The 6G-PATH team also exchanged insights and explored synergies with other SNS-JU projects, including:
SUNRISE-6G
6G-BRICKS
6G-DALI
Additionally, as part of assessing use cases for verticals, 6G-PATH collaborated closely with the HE AMBITIOUS and OASEES projects, further strengthening cross-project alignment and knowledge sharing.
A dynamic and engaging presence
The 6G-PATH presence at IEEE NFV-SDN 2025 was highly successful, with energetic discussions, continuous interaction, and sustained interest from conference participants throughout the event.
At the Conference, Dr. Ioannis Chochliouros, 6G-PATH Project Coordinator, also gave a presentation of the 6G-PATH project to the Conference organisers, offering an overview of the project’s objectives, technological ambitions, and its role in advancing 6G innovation across Europe.
