6G-PATH at DEFEA 2025 in Athens
From 6 to 8 May 2025, 6G-PATH was prominently featured at DEFEA 2025 – Defence Exhibition Athens, one of Europe’s leading defence and security events. Hosted at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece, DEFEA 2025 brought together key stakeholders from Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, fostering international cooperation and the exchange of innovative technologies in the defence and security sectors.
The 6G-PATH project was disseminated by project partner ACTA, which took part as an exhibitor. At their booth, ACTA carried out several outreach activities, including:
- Showcasing 6G-PATH videos on a dedicated monitor
- Displaying the official project banner for visibility
- Distributing 100 leaflets presenting the project’s objectives and key components
- Engaging with visitors to discuss the project’s approach and use cases, with several attendees expressing strong interest in its research and development aspects
Participation in DEFEA 2025 offered a timely opportunity to highlight how next-generation 6G technologies can support the development of secure, intelligent, and resilient communication infrastructures for future defence and public safety applications.
